Back-Marked dolls include:

Vogue Ginny, All Ginny dolls are marked. The exact marking can help determine the doll's age. Early Ginny is marked simply "Vogue" or "Vogue Doll." Mid-1950's include "GINNY -patent pending" and after 1955 the patent number is included. For more, Click HERE for GINNY HISTORY.
most (but not all) Muffie dolls
some (but not most) PMA, Doll Bodies Products
possibly others.

Vinyl Head Dolls are nearly always marked on the base of the back of their heads. Dolls known to have had a vinyl head version include:

A&H Gigi (marked "Gigi")
Fortune Pam (marked "Pam")
Ginger (marked "Ginger")
Ginny (marked "Ginny" on head, as well as regular back marking)
Muffie (marked "Muffie")
PMA (marked "PMA" or "VICKI" - not to be confused with Elite's Vicki)
Uneeda (marked "U")

If NO - not marked, CONTINUE:

Gigi, Ginger, Mindy, Vicki, Pam, and the many Virga dolls are among those that are NEVER marked on the back - unless vinyl-headed, of course.
